Luce di Carrara takes the production of white marble to new levels. The marble is split into nine separate ranges depending on the veining within the marble, from the snow white Bernini to Carvaggio which goes from a white-cream to ivory grey with veins vary from brown or ochre with an irregular flow which goes deep into the marble giving it warmth. For each order the slab is specifically selected to ensure consistency of colour and veining for each order. The slab is then cut, calibrated and processed. During the processing the marble is heated to reduce the moisture content and increase the level of whiteness of the marble. Also during the manufacturing process the marble is treated with a patented anti-stain treatment. The marble can now be treated more like a tile and less like stone.

Marble is a strong material, completely natural, and capable of resisting the ravages of time over the centuries. However, to protect surfaces from wear and damage caused by everyday use, Luce di Carrara is treated when being manufactured with an innovative and patented anti-stain treatment.
Luce di Carrara even if is a precious and delicate material does not present problems when being laid because of the sealing during the production process and the calibration of the pieces the marble can be treated as a tile when fixing ensuring a superb level of finishing that is difficult to be surpassed.
The standard 12mm thickness of the marble means that the stone retains its strength but equally is easy to lay and then if required in the future the polished surface can be restored on site if necessary.
