How to choose colours

Every room should have some focal point, or point of interest. It can be anything from an accent colour or feature wall to a piece of furniture or art work. Start your colour choice from here. One colour should always dominate a scheme - the colour of the largest area.

Think about how the room is to be used and the atmosphere you wish to create. A common colour in connecting rooms, even if only in furnishings or woodwork, creates a good impression.
